Our wonderful Frida von der Halde, born in 2017, is a daughter of the incredible stallion Alwin 469 sport AAA.
In the last five months, Frida has really been shining in all that she has tried and is proving herself to be a real star in the making.
In September 2024, she was graded by the KFPS and received a ster predicate which puts her into a small number of highly graded Friesian mares in the country. On the same day, she performed the ridden IBOP, with a score of 75 points which gave her the title of IBOP Champion! Frida went on to become overall day Champion of the UK Friesian Inspection 2024! organised by the 'United Kingdom Friesian Horse Studbook'.
Her next event was showing at the Friesian Horse Show 2024 in which she was placed 1st in the in-hand class (over 4 years) with Fiona, who purely aimed to have a fun day out but wasn't expecting to win the class, to her surprise they went on to claim the In-hand Championship then Overall Champion!
Next, I started competing Frida in dressage, we have spent the last few months travelling to new venues working through preliminary tests and have also started novice. She is regularly placed in the top two and gaining confidence with each outing.Â
She has achieved a lot in these last five months competing, at home has become a reliable nanny to youngsters going out on first hacks and always looking for some love from her humans. Frida has surpassed all our expectations in her achievements. Hopefully her two sons 'Rhaegar' and 'Tarek' will follow in their mother's hoofprints with their owners.
