On Sunday 22nd September we held a show for Friesian and Barock pinto horses and tie it in on the same weekend as the Friesian grading day.
This show was just for fun and we invited owners to bring their Friesian and Barock Pinto horses along to show them off. It was a lovely day and particularly special to see some of the horses previously owned by Friesians Scotland returning and all looking super.
The first class was split on the day as there were a large number of Barock Pintos and only two Friesians so it was better to judge these horses separate, starting with the two Friesian youngsters.
Two year old Friesians
1st – Venus of FS
2nd – Trojan of FS – Kim Clark
Barock Pinto youngsters 1-3 years
1st – Loki of FS – Stevie Moonie
2nd – Luna Eclipse – Claire Smith
3rd - Laura Davie – Morrighan
4th – Maverick of FS - Sandi Elliot

6th – L’amore of FS – Lyndsay Mcfadzean
At the judges discretion a highly commended rosette was given to Sandi Elliot for the standard of turnout and condition of her two year old horse Maverick.
One more commended rosette was given in this class to Jessica Reynolds for her handling skills of her exuberant yearling colt.

This was the biggest class on the day and lovely to see our former residents returning, placings only went to 6th so I am sorry to those not mentioned here, it was a very strong class!
